Music and Opera in Verona

With the Arena as one of the world’s most extraordinary settings for the Opera season, Verona is the perfect city for those who would like to take part in Music and Opera Courses. This course is a valuable extension for any undergraduate or graduate music program. We offer ou students the opportunity to experience the musical and cultural riches of the world of Italian Opera in a whole new way – through in-depth study of the performances, the history and the culture. Students can immerse themselves in a course offering a full range of professional classes and activities, including voice training and lessons with world famous opera singers. The annual summer opera season in Verona is world-renowned and attracts both visitors and preformers from all over the globe. Works by Italian composers such as Giuseppe Verdi and Giacomo Puccini, among others, are preformed live in the ancient Arena in Verona’s Piazza Bra.
